The following hadith is in regards to Aloe Vera. It is narrated from Nubaih Ibn Wahb who stated, “We departed with Aban Ibn Uthman (in the state of lhram). When we arrived at a place called Malal, ‘Umar Ibn ‘Ubaidullah suffered with pain in his eyes. When we reached Rawhaa, his pain became intense. He sent a message to Aban Ibn ‘Uthman asking him (what to do). Aban sent him a message to apply aloes to them, for indeed ‘Uthman narrated from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in relation to the man whose eyes are afflicted whilst he is in the state of Ihraam that he may apply aloes to them.“
(Sahih Muslim)
Another hadith in relation to Aloe Vera which is as follows. It is narrated from Nubaih Ibn Wahb, “Umar Ibn ‘UbaidIllah Ibn Ma’mar suffered with pain in his eyes so he sent a message to Aban Ibn ‘Uthman (the narrator, Sufyan, explained that Aban Ibn ‘Uthmam was the leader of the affairs pertaining to the season of Hajj) enquiring what he should do to treat them. Aban Ibn ‘Uthman said, “Apply aloe to them. For indeed I heard ‘Uthman mentioning that from Allah’s Messenger ﷺ .“
